Weldon Library offers two types of dedicated study space for graduate students, individual assigned study rooms and the Graduate Student Commons.

The D.B. Weldon Library has an exterior book drop located beside the main entrance to the building. This book drop is open whenever the library is closed. We also have a book drop on the main floor near the elevators.

Red emergency telephones are located on:

  • Ground floor between the Periodical room and the Map & Data Centre
  • Stack 2, 3, 4 and 5 beside the double elevators.

They connect directly to 911. To operate, simply press the button.

Emergency telephones are indicated by ET on the library floor plans.

The D.B. Weldon library provides a "Lost & Found" service. If you have left something behind in the library we hope the good samaritan who finds it drops your lost item off at our lost and found. We'll keep it secure behind the circulation side of the Service desk for a few days. Eventually all lost items will be packaged and sent to the Western Campus Community Police Service.

There are several microform copiers, readers, and scanners available at Weldon.

Floor Washrooms
Ground floor Male and female washrooms with stalls, including an accessible stall.
First floor All-gender washrooms, including several accessible units with a sink.
Mezzanine All-gender washrooms, including several accessible units with a sink.
Also has a change table.
Second Floor Male and female washrooms with stalls
Individual washroom (all-gender), fully accessible.
Third and Fourth floors Male and female washrooms with stalls.
No accessible stalls.
Fifth floor Five individual washrooms (all-gender). Two are fully accessible.
