Weldon offers reservable group study rooms with media equipment on the Ground floor, Mezzanine, and Second floor. Please note that bookings are limited to a maximum of two hours per day. There are also group study rooms on the third and fourth floors without media equipment. These rooms are offered on a first come first served basis. |

Weldon has over 900 study spaces where you’re free to talk to your friends and classmates across several floors, including:
These areas feature a wide range of different seating options to suit a range of preferences, from casual couches and armchairs to booth seating to long divided study tables. There are also computer stations on the Main Floor and the Map and Data Centre (Ground floor). Cellphone use and music with headphones are allowed. |

There are around 300 spaces on the Third Floor where quiet group work and independent work can be completed. There is a mix of comfortable chairs and banquette seats on the ground floor, with more traditional tables and carrel seating on the third floor. Cellphones are to be set to vibrate and only music with headphones is allowed. |

Over 450 silent study spaces can be found on the Fourth floor – no talking is allowed here. Cellphones are to be set on vibrate, and only music with headphones is allowed. |

There are a number of daily-use individual study rooms reserved for graduate students. Room keys are available at the Info Desk and can be borrowed using your Western ONECard. Keys must be returned to the Info Desk before the library closes. Daily-use rooms are offered on a first come, first served basis. There are assigned graduate student study spaces available, including individual study rooms and the Graduate Student Commons. Eligible students may apply for access to these spaces at the start of each academic year. |

Located on the Mezzanine, The Weldon Family Room is a space for parents to work and study with their children. The room offers a work table, couch, child-sized furniture, and access to a television and outlets. Individuals can use this space only when they are accompanied by their child/children. Children must be supervised at all times while in this space. |
Graduate Study Space
Western Libraries provides a variety of study space to graduate students. This includes assigned study rooms in Weldon as well as the Scholars Lab.
